Since 1913, Stalter has manufactured high performance knives tailored for the United States and Canadian woodworking industries.
Stalter uses only mill-direct, high-quality raw steel in all our knives. First, the unfinished steel is quality-checked, then pre-ground and heat-treated under the finest metallurgical control. After it has hardened, we triple-temper and surface grind each knife, then check Rockwell for hardness.
The results of Stalter's painstaking process are knives that cut longer than other blades.

Custom Manufacturing
We have our own Milling, Drilling, Grinding and Heat-Treating Rooms which enables us to produce custom items. From raw steel to finish grind, we can meet your requirements. Fax or mail or email us a blueprint, drawing, or sample and we'll quote a price within 48 hours.
